Commercial Title and Escrow Assistant (In Office)

About the role
- Supports a large national team with escrow and title duties and processes.
- Provides excellent customer service and assists in the establishment of new accounts and maintenance of existing accounts.
Responsibilities
- Perform various related duties, including document review/abstracting, and the facilitation of the recording of legal documents nationwide.
- Assist in the maintenance of online communication tools data entry and information compliance.
- Communicate with customers and vendors on a regular basis providing status updates.
- Responsible for pre-close maintenance and post-close follow up on escrow and title issues.
- Help to develop and/or obtain required escrow and title documentation in accordance with instructions, file needs, policy and procedures, and applicable statutory and Federal regulations.
- Use research to create and maintain files, records and reports.
- Respond to inquiries and gather information to resolve issues.
- Audit calculations and legal documents for accuracy.
- Participate in the business development activities to help maintain existing clients and to acquire new clients.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years related experience directly assisting with escrow and/or title transactions with some real estate related knowledge and experience
- Communicate professionally with all customers

Pay Range: $20.31 - $27.09 Hourly
