Commercial Tire Pick Up & Delivery Driver - Murfreesboro, TN

About the role

Commercial P&D driver based in Wilks, providing pickup and delivery service to commercial customers and transporting product between store locations, warehouse, and customers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Report to and work under the direction of the Store Manager and Support Sales Staff (Commercial Sales Manager or Sales team).
• Physically load and unload product for safe transportation.
• Properly and accurately check load invoice against product load and be accountable for the process to management.
• Maintain consistent work attendance to align with customer delivery days and schedules.
• Clean and maintain delivery truck and trailer.
• Maintain and inspect truck and trailer regularly to ensure a safe and well-kept delivery unit.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Report any safety issues immediately to management.
• Help keep shop areas clean and organized.
• Maintain a professional appearance.

Requirements

• Clean, valid Driver’s license.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Have or able to obtain a DOT Health Card.
• Physically able to roll commercial truck tires onto and off trailer ramp (50–150 lbs.).
• Ability to drive for 8+ hours per day within DOT limits.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CDL is a plus, but not required.
