About the role

We are helping a General Contractor who is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee ground-up commercial construction projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. This individual will be responsible for leading field operations from project startup through closeout while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and schedule performance. This person must have experience on ground up commercial projects over $4M in size. Projects are located throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Candidates should be comfortable traveling to jobsites generally within 1 to 1.5 hours of Fort Worth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
  • Cookordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules.
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Conduct daily site meetings and maintain clear communication with project management, owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, inspections, schedules, and punch lists.
  • Promote a safe and productive jobsite while enforcing company safety standards.
  • Lead project closeout activities to ensure a successful turnover to the owner.

Qualifications

  • 4 or more years of experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial construction projects.
  • Experience managing commercial projects ranging from $4 million to $30 million.
  • Ground-up commercial construction experience is required.
  • Healthcare construction experience is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction means and methods, sequencing, scheduling, constructability, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead projects while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project teams.
  • A continuous learner who embraces technology, innovation, and industry best practices.

  • Base Salary: $90,000 - $130,000, depending on experience
