About the role

At Trinity, summer associates are an integral part of project teams comprised of staff, management, and leadership team members. Summer associates will have exposure to a wide variety of strategic business issues, as well as the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the life sciences industry, ranging from small biotechs to large pharma and medical technology. Summer associates develop their skills through extensive formal and informal training, as well as receiving mentorship that encourages them to stretch their analytical, leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.

Schedule

This is a 9-week, in-person summer internship. The program will run from June 14–August 13, 2027. Interns can expect to work 40 hours per week.

Pay

Interns will earn $35 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct secondary research using healthcare databases (e.g., EvaluatePharma, RedBook, Cortellis) to inform analyses on drug pricing, clinical pipelines, marketplace dynamics, etc.
  • Utilize analytical tools (e.g., forecast models) to support key client decision-making.
  • Coordinate and conduct primary market research with physicians, patients, payers and other key healthcare stakeholders.
  • Interpret, analyze, and synthesize clinical, scientific, and business data and research, and present findings to project teams and clients.
  • Develop presentations and other outputs in collaboration with project teams for client deliverables.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and demonstrate interest in the life sciences field.
  • Reserved for rising seniors or students who have one year left in their studies.

Skills

  • Initiative demonstrated in previous academic and work experience.
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal relations skills.
  • Ability to manage time well in order to work on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Desire and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
