Responsibilities
- Onboard commercial loans into the loan system for various lending verticals.
- Partner closely with Loan Coordinators to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of daily loan closings.
- Process incoming payments, conversions, and rate changes accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure payment accuracy and work with Agent Banks and Lending Teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Handle advance requests, including submission to the wire department.
- Collaborate with Lending Teams to maintain a positive client experience through excellent customer service.
- Communicate with clients to answer questions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with imaging loan documents and daily activity.
- Responsible for daily balancing of work in process accounts.
- Train & mentor junior-level associates, reviewing their work as needed.
- Monitor team email boxes and work-in-process items to ensure requests are completed accurately and on time.
- Assess training needs and plan monthly team meetings.
- Handle complex situations and escalate issues to higher levels when appropriate.
Requirements
- Understand and comply with all regulations, including the Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Expert knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures.
- Select and use training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Qualifications
- Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum Required: 6+ years of relevant experience with at least 5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
