Commercial Service Manager

About the role

Snider Fleet Solutions is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Service Manager to provide daily direction and distribution of work orders to technicians. The role also includes oversight of work performed and ensuring proper safety procedures and processes are followed.

Responsibilities

• Receive, create, assign, and monitor all service work orders to technicians
• Manage productivity of technicians, focusing on monthly revenue goals
• Provide ongoing training and skill development opportunities for technicians
• Step in to assist with work orders and technician tasks as needed, especially during periods of high demand or staffing shortages
• Assist branch manager with maintaining up-to-date employee administrative files
• Aid sales staff with service quotes, product look-ups, and customer concerns
• Oversee customer-scheduled fleet work, scrap tire analysis, and other customer needs
• Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory, load/unload, barcoding, scan billing, etc.
• Conduct daily inspections of the warehouse, service bays, trucks, and equipment to ensure safety, compliance, cleanliness, and organization
• Ensure proper branch opening and closing procedures are being followed

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a commercial tire technician
• 2-3+ years of experience assigning commercial service work orders to technicians
• Proficient in MS Office and able to learn other software (Maddenco, AS400, SAP, BTN, etc.)
• Commercial TIA certification (strongly preferred)
• Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain following employment)
• Valid Driver's License or state(s) equivalent and must be insurable to drive by company standards
