Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a commercial tire technician
  • 5+ years of experience assigning commercial service work orders to technicians
  • Proficient in MS Office and able to learn other software (Maddenco, AS400, SAP, BTN, etc.)
  • Commercial TIA certification (strongly preferred)
  • Forklift Certification (or ability to obtain following employment)
  • Valid Driver's License or state(s) equivalent and must be insurable to drive by company standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, create, assign, and monitor all service work orders to technicians
  • Manage productivity of technicians, with a focus on monthly revenue goals
  • Provide ongoing training and skill development opportunities for technicians to enhance performance and stay current with industry standards
  • Step in to assist with work orders and technician tasks as needed, especially during periods of high demand or staffing shortages
  • Assist branch manager with maintaining up to date employee administrative files
  • Aid sales staff with service quotes, product look-ups, and any customer concerns
  • Assist with customer scheduled fleet work, scrap tire analysis, and other customer needs
  • Assist with warehouse duties (inventory, load/unload, barcoding, scan billing, etc.)
  • Conduct daily inspection of warehouse, service bays, trucks, and equipment in order to ensure safety, compliance, cleanliness, and organization
  • Ensure proper branch opening and closing procedures are being followed
