About the role
This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations. We're looking for a sales leader who can bridge two worlds: selling cutting-edge space offerings to the high-tech industry and bringing tech-sector customers into the space economy.
Responsibilities
- Own a strategic commercial pipeline that spans Blue Origin's business units and programs
- Measure against sales goals and related metrics, involving proposal and contract development alongside cross-functional partners
- Translate across industries: make space offerings legible and compelling to tech buyers, and help space-native customers understand emerging tech capabilities
- Be the connective tissue between two fast-moving sectors
Requirements
- Undergraduate or advanced degree in a technical field (e.g., aerospace engineering, computer science)
- 7+ years of experience in complex B2B or B2G sales
- Demonstrated ability to sell into, or on behalf of, the high-tech sector (e.g., hyperscalers, cloud providers, AI companies, data infrastructure) or the space/aerospace sector
- Aptitude to learn and communicate complex technical concepts fluently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including highly technical and financial presentations
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to run multiple pursuits in parallel
- High judgment, accountability, ethics, energy, creativity, and standards
- Ability to travel judiciously to support customers and conferences
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in business administration or equivalent (e.g., MBA)
- Experience selling to or within high-tech / hyperscaler / AI customers (e.g., Meta, Anthropic, Google, AWS, Microsoft, OpenAI)
- Experience selling aerospace, launch, satellite, or space-based services to commercial customers
- 5+ years of recent aerospace industry experience
- 5+ years of international business experience
Skills
Fluency in translating complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential.

Pay
Compensation range for CA applicants is $169,624.00 - $237,473.25, and for WA applicants is $169,624.00 - $237,473.25. Other site ranges may differ.

Location: Kent, WA preferred. Only Blue Origin locations will be considered.
