About the role

The Commercial Sales Consultant is responsible for identifying and developing commercial business opportunities, conducting property assessments, presenting solutions, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and maintaining long-term customer relationships. This is a consultative sales role focused on creating lasting partnerships rather than transactional sales.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with:
    • Commercial property owners
    • Property management companies
    • Facility managers
    • Commercial real estate firms
    • Asset managers
    • General contractors
    • HOAs
    • Apartment ownership groups
    • Industrial facilities
    • Manufacturers
    • Churches
    • Schools
    • Healthcare facilities
    • Municipal agencies
  • Prospect and generate new commercial opportunities
  • Conduct roof and exterior building inspections
  • Utilize drone technology for inspections
  • Identify repair, restoration, maintenance, and replacement opportunities
  • Develop preventive roof maintenance programs
  • Present capital replacement recommendations
  • Prepare professional proposals
  • Build long-term service agreements
  • Cook with insurance adjusters when storm damage occurs
  • Manage customer relationships throughout each project
  • Generate referrals and repeat business
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM software
  • Represent Storm Guard at networking events, trade associations, and community organizations

Qualifications
