About the role
The Commercial Sales Consultant is responsible for identifying and developing commercial business opportunities, conducting property assessments, presenting solutions, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and maintaining long-term customer relationships. This is a consultative sales role focused on creating lasting partnerships rather than transactional sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with:
- Commercial property owners
- Property management companies
- Facility managers
- Commercial real estate firms
- Asset managers
- General contractors
- HOAs
- Apartment ownership groups
- Industrial facilities
- Manufacturers
- Churches
- Schools
- Healthcare facilities
- Municipal agencies
- Prospect and generate new commercial opportunities
- Conduct roof and exterior building inspections
- Utilize drone technology for inspections
- Identify repair, restoration, maintenance, and replacement opportunities
- Develop preventive roof maintenance programs
- Present capital replacement recommendations
- Prepare professional proposals
- Build long-term service agreements
- Cook with insurance adjusters when storm damage occurs
- Manage customer relationships throughout each project
- Generate referrals and repeat business
- Maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM software
- Represent Storm Guard at networking events, trade associations, and community organizations
Qualifications
