Responsibilities

  • Generate prospects, provide insurance solutions, and support clients.
  • Create and maintain prospect lists through warm and cold calling.
  • Identify clients' insurance needs, gaps in coverage, and potential premium savings.
  • Obtain accurate information from prospects for comprehensive submissions to insurers.
  • Maintain attention to timeliness and accuracy when interacting with clients, agencies, and company personnel.
  • Work within a team structure to provide ongoing support to clients post-sales cycle.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of production success in P&C insurance.
  • Demonstrated expertise and reputation in a specific niche market (current Sovereign specialties or others).
  • A strong record of new business growth and client retention.
  • Desire to take ownership of building a practice and reputation within a supportive, team-oriented environment.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit paired with a commitment to collaboration and client service.
  • Has a proven production track record with established client relationships.
  • Bridges recognized expertise in a niche market and the credibility to be seen as a subject matter expert.
  • Wants to be a practice leader, not just a salesperson.
