Responsibilities
- Generate prospects, provide insurance solutions, and support clients.
- Create and maintain prospect lists through warm and cold calling.
- Identify clients' insurance needs, gaps in coverage, and potential premium savings.
- Obtain accurate information from prospects for comprehensive submissions to insurers.
- Maintain attention to timeliness and accuracy when interacting with clients, agencies, and company personnel.
- Work within a team structure to provide ongoing support to clients post-sales cycle.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production success in P&C insurance.
- Demonstrated expertise and reputation in a specific niche market (current Sovereign specialties or others).
- A strong record of new business growth and client retention.
- Desire to take ownership of building a practice and reputation within a supportive, team-oriented environment.
- Entrepreneurial spirit paired with a commitment to collaboration and client service.
- Has a proven production track record with established client relationships.
- Bridges recognized expertise in a niche market and the credibility to be seen as a subject matter expert.
- Wants to be a practice leader, not just a salesperson.
