About the role

This position involves conducting insurance underwriting surveys on residential, commercial, and agricultural properties. The role requires assessing property conditions, identifying hazards, and gathering data to assist insurance companies in establishing replacement cost values.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections of residential, commercial, and agricultural properties.
• Assess property conditions and identify potential hazards.
• Gather data to support insurance company claims evaluations.
• Develop reports detailing findings and recommendations.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of home construction materials and methods.
• Previous inspection experience is helpful but not required.
• A PC, internet access, and digital camera are required.
• Must be able to meet and converse with people in the community.
• Reliable, organized, and self-motivated personality.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance underwriting is preferred but not required.
• Microsoft Word proficiency is required.
