About the role

This position involves conducting insurance underwriting surveys on residential, commercial, and agricultural properties. The role requires assessing conditions, identifying hazards, gathering data, and assisting insurance companies in establishing replacement cost values.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections of residential, commercial, and agricultural properties.
• Assess conditions and identify hazards that may lead to claims activity.
• Gather data to assist insurance companies in establishing replacement cost values.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of home construction materials and methods.
• Previous inspection experience is helpful but not required.
• A PC, internet access, and digital camera are required.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Microsoft programs/Word proficiency required.

Skills

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to assess property conditions and identify hazards.
• Knowledge of home construction materials and methods.
