About the role

This position involves conducting insurance underwriting surveys on residential, commercial, and agricultural properties. The role requires assessing conditions, identifying hazards, gathering data, and assisting insurance companies in establishing replacement cost values.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections of residential, commercial, and agricultural properties.
• Assess conditions and identify potential hazards that could lead to claims activity.
• Gather data to assist insurance companies in determining replacement cost values for buildings and dwellings.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of home construction materials and methods.
• Previous inspection experience is helpful but not required.
• A PC, internet access, and digital camera are required.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Reliable and organized.
• Capable of meeting and conversing with people in the community.

Skills

• Microsoft programs/Word proficiency.
