About the role

This position involves conducting insurance underwriting surveys on residential, commercial, and agricultural properties. The role requires assessing property conditions, identifying hazards, gathering data, and assisting insurance companies in establishing replacement cost values.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections of residential, commercial, and agricultural properties.
• Assess property conditions and identify potential hazards.
• Gather data to support insurance claims and replacement cost valuations.
• Communicate effectively with clients and insurance companies.

Requirements

• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of home construction materials and methods.
• Previous inspection experience is helpful but not required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word.
• Access to a PC, internet, and digital camera.

Qualifications

• Capable of meeting and conversing with people in the community.
• Reliable and organized.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
