About the role
The Commerce Bank of Washington is seeking an experienced Commercial Relationship Manager to join their team. This role involves generating and servicing a variety of commercial/business loans and bank services, achieving portfolio growth and cross-sale goals, and overseeing loan portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Generate and service commercial/business loans and bank services
- Achieve portfolio growth and cross-sale goals
- Oversee assigned loan portfolio to ensure proper compliance with loan covenants
- Maintain and manage portfolio quality, stability, and risks
- Present bank products and services to prospective clients and company principals
- Perform underwriting functions as needed
- Monitor credit quality of assigned accounts
- Build and maintain relationships with high customer satisfaction
- Train and mentor lower-level officers (when applicable)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in banking, finance, or a related field with 6+ years of commercial lending or related experience
- Extensive knowledge of commercial loans, credit analysis, lending, loan processing, and closing processes
- Strong sales ability and experience expanding commercial loans, client relationships, and cross-selling bank products
- Expert experience in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment
- Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Working knowledge of software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets
- Experience managing a medium-to-large commercial portfolio

Pay
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $168,000 - $205,000 annually, depending on job-related factors such as level of experience.
