Commercial Rear Load Drivers

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial rear-load truck to empty commercial dumpsters within an assigned route
• Dispose of refuse in various landfills near the assigned territory
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and adherence to traffic laws
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and report any maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Complete assigned routes to provide dumpster pick-up to customers
• Complete paperwork, including the use of an electronic tablet throughout the day

Requirements

• Pass drug test
• Clean driving record
• Class A or B CDL
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Previous waste industry experience as a commercial rear-load driver with a minimum of 1 year industry experience
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Pay

Competitive pay – day rate, paid weekly. Compensation details: $240–$250.

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts
• Ability to commute/relocate to Elizabeth, PA 15037 reliably or planning to relocate before starting work
