About the role

SVN | Desert Commercial Advisors is seeking summer interns for our Phoenix office. If you have ever considered sales as a career, this is your hands-on opportunity to work in a growth-oriented brokerage firm where you can learn about the commercial real estate industry.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside both new and experienced Commercial Real Estate Advisors in a collaborative team setting run by the office's Managing Director.
• Evaluate potential investment opportunities.
• Create financial models.
• Create marketing materials for available spaces.
• Conduct market research and identify trends.
• Assist in conducting due diligence on investment opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations.

Requirements

• A strong desire to learn and excel in the commercial real estate industry.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• The self-motivation and discipline to work on teams and individual assignments.
• A positive attitude and proven work ethic.
• Some college or equivalent alternative education or military experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university.
• Available to work 20 hours per week during the summer, fall, or spring semesters.
• Strong academic performance.
