Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant
Responsibilities
- Create and format documents
- Edit and track documents (redline)
- Aid attorneys and paralegals with transactional processes
- Handle monthly client billing
- Maintain paper and electronic files
- Conduct conflict checks and manage client matters
- Prepare closing binders
- Perform administrative functions such as report preparation, letter drafting, scheduling, expense reporting, time entry, and phone answering
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in a commercial real estate legal support role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with Document Management Systems (e.g., iManage)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage changing priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated initiative, good judgment, and multitasking abilities
