About the role

Robinson+Cole, a Vault "Top Ranked" Am Law 200 firm, seeks an associate with two to four years of commercial real estate transactional and/or land use experience to join its active Commercial Real Estate + Development Practice Group based in our Hartford, CT or Boston, MA offices.

Responsibilities

  • Represent buyers, sellers, lenders, owners, and tenants in commercial real estate transactions and other matters for all classes of real estate assets.
  • Experience with title and survey review, zoning and land use review and permitting, drafting acquisition documents, and reviewing a variety of loan documents.
  • Complex real estate experience, including acquisitions, dispositions, public and private financing, and zoning and land use entitlements.
  • Work well as part of a team and enjoy a fast-paced work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of complex real estate experience.
  • Strong real estate fundamentals, including experience with title and survey review, zoning and land use review and permitting, drafting acquisition documents, and reviewing a variety of loan documents.
  • Top academic credentials and professional ability, including excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Prior law firm experience is required for this position.

Pay

  • The target base salary range for this position is $190,000 to $202,500.

Schedule

  • Attorneys are asked to work in the office a minimum of 2-3 days per week to benefit from in-person connection and collaboration.
