Job Details
Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Attorney to join our team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing real estate transactions from start to finish, with a focus on industrial park acquisitions, dispositions, leases, and financings. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented attorney who can handle contracts, run deals independently, and perform comprehensive due diligence, including title and survey review.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial real estate contracts, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, and ancillary agreements.
- Manage transactions from term sheet through closing, coordinating with clients, lenders, title companies, and opposing counsel.
- Conduct and oversee real estate due diligence, including title, survey, zoning, and environmental review.
- Review and resolve title and survey issues, prepare objection letters, and coordinate curative actions.
- Support clients in connection with industrial park developments, acquisitions, and operations.
- Provide clear, practical legal advice and risk assessments to help clients achieve business goals.
- Maintain organized files, track key deal milestones, and ensure deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing (any U.S. jurisdiction)
- 4+ years of experience in commercial real estate law, with a focus on transactions and due diligence.
- Strong understanding of title and survey review, leasing, financing, and closing processes.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deals independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience with industrial assets strongly preferred.
