About the role
The Real Estate Group at Tarter Krinsky & Drogin LLP (TKD) seeks an experienced attorney with 3-12 years of experience (4+ years preferred) in commercial real estate, particularly in office and retail leasing, financings, and sale-purchase transactions. The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellence in writing, legal analysis, and negotiation skills. TKD offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $215,000, with benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401K, disability, life insurance, and Paid Time Off (PTO).
Responsibilities
- Represent institutional and private lenders, owners, developers, and asset managers in commercial real estate transactions and ongoing operations.
- Advise clients in areas such as acquisition, leasing, asset management, finance, development, and investment.
- Regularly represent clients on both the tenant and landlord sides of significant leasing deals.
- Work independently and as part of a dynamic and supportive team.
Requirements
- Admitted in New York.
- Experienced in commercial real estate, including significant experience in office and retail leasing, financings, and sale-purchase transactions.
- Demonstrated excellence in writing, legal analysis, and negotiation skills.
- A solid academic background.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Law degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York Bar.
- Experience in commercial real estate, including significant experience in office and retail leasing, financings, and sale-purchase transactions.

Schedule
TKD maintains a hybrid schedule structured as Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in-office with the option to be remote Mondays and Fridays.
Pay
The good faith base annual salary range for this position is a minimum of $130,000 to a maximum of $215,000. The actual salary rate offered to candidates within that range will depend on a variety of factors, including years of relevant experience, applicable bar admissions, office location, and the candidate's overall qualifications for the position as assessed by the Firm.
