Commercial QA/QC Specialist

As a Commercial QA/QC Specialist, you will provide solutions to technical problems of moderate scope and complexity, work independently with little supervision, contribute to project milestones, apply technical standards and principles, and engage in frequent inter-organizational and customer/contractor contacts while working toward Subject Matter Expert status. Candidates must reside in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Train field staff and develop training materials and guidelines on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and energy audits of complex and large-scale commercial buildings.
• Complete on-site verifications and electronic review of field data entered into program database.
• Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning, and effectiveness of products.
• Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve issues.
• Travel throughout a defined territory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or Associate’s degree with relevant industry technical certification/training preferred.
• 4–8 years of experience.
• Must reside in Michigan.
• If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks.

Compensation

Target compensation: $50,000 annually + bonus. Salary range: $48,800 – $66,300 (USD). Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, and certain degrees and certifications.
