We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Commercial Project Manager to join our team in the construction industry. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about leading teams to deliver high-quality construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing commercial construction projects from the ground up, including hotels, country clubs, clubhouses, and healthcare construction.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Review and interpret blueprints, plans, and other project documents.
• Implement and maintain risk management processes to mitigate potential project risks.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
• Supervise site activities, ensuring the work is being carried out as per the project plan and quality standards.
• Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
• Solve any arising problems or delays in the construction process in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure mutual understanding and project progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Proven experience in budget management, risk management, safety management, and quality control in the construction industry.
• Demonstrable experience in managing ground up commercial construction projects, including hotels, country clubs, clubhouses, and healthcare construction.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and construction plans.
• Excellent team leadership skills, with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A relevant degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Certifications in Project Management, Safety Management, or related fields will be an added advantage.

Pay

$130,000 - $150,000 per year
