Commercial Project Engineer II (Hiring Multiple Locations - The Bay Area CA & The Greater Boston Area))
Position Summary
A Commercial Project Engineer II is proficient at working in commercial environments to deliver impactful and effective system documentation. They are the technical expert to the Tech Ops team through the lifecycle of a project. They are responsible to ensure a project is executed with excellence as well as meets all design requirements laid out in the scope of work.
Responsibilities
- Be the technical Liaison for the Tech Ops team.
- Interface & maintain ongoing dialogue for projects with Clients, Sales, CAD, and Tech Ops team members
- Ensure well executed system installation through detailed documentation packages, including but not limited to: AutoCAD drawings, IP and network documentation, System commissioning documentation, Change order and RFI documentation and scopes of work
- Identify all cabling and miscellaneous material needs
- Direct technical teams on installation challenges
- Project manager liaison for engineering inquires
- Assist and perform ongoing technical assessment, and support for tech ops during integration, install, & commissioning
- Met with vendors/prospective vendors to help evaluate products
- Writing and commissioning digital signal processing programming

Requirements
- CTS and/or CTS-D preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in AV systems design
- Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of AV experience plus a four-year degree or military experience may also be considered
- A thorough, demonstrable understanding of systems integration techniques
- Skilled in the use of Computer aided drafting software
- MS Office – able to use Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access proficiently without training

Pay
$115,000 - $135,000/yr depending on background and experience. The pay range(s) listed are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
