Commercial Project Administrator
About the role
This position reports to the Director of Portfolio Finance Management and is responsible for supporting Portfolio Finance Managers with the administrative financial tasks of large projects in the Americas region. This includes setting up projects in the ERP, maintaining resource assignments, supporting purchasing transactions and gathering documentation and information for various commercial topics.
Responsibilities
- Provide transactional SAP support including set-up of new projects and resource assignments
- Provide SAP maintenance for project budgets, sales orders and milestone billings
- Support the purchase order process including purchase requisition initiation, processing goods receipts and prepayments, and close coordination with accounts payable and external vendors.
- Assist in shipping processes (maintaining commercial invoices and proof of delivery)
- Assist in gathering information to support claims, liquidated damages, change orders, etc.
- Provide ad-hoc reconciliations, reporting and analysis
- Assist in tax assessment process
- Assist in inventory reconciliation
Qualifications
- 3-5 Years of experience in a financial role for large projects
- BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or related experience
- Ability to work US-based working hours
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel skills
- Working knowledge of project accounting methods
- Working knowledge of project related activities
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Solid time-management skills
- Strong ability to multi-task
- A self-starter with a high degree of energy and careful attention to detail
- Preferred system experience: SAP S/4 HANA, Primavera Unifer
