About the role

Lee Company offers complete facility solutions services of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and preventative maintenance for commercial facilities throughout Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky. Our team has built a reputation on trust, honesty, employee safety, and excellence since 1944. We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Service Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures
  • Work with various plumbing materials
  • Communicate directly with customers inside and outside of facilities

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial plumbing
  • A mixture of new plumbing installations and plumbing service
  • Knowledge of complete plumbing systems

Skills and Abilities

  • Valid Driver's License with Good Driving Record
  • Plumbing License (optional)
  • Certification in PVC/HDPE Fusion Pipe Welding (optional)
  • Advanced diagnosis, service, and repair of water heaters and boilers
  • Advanced pump/lift station diagnosis, service, and repair
  • Backflow certification
  • Knowledge and ability to freeze live water lines
  • Knowledge and ability to perform hot taps for energized piping and equipment
  • Advanced drain camera recording/locating underground lines
  • Advanced electrical knowledge
  • Complete knowledge of plumbing drainage, waste, and venting systems
  • Advanced drain cleaning with cable machines and hydro jetter equipment
  • Complete knowledge and skills to install and repair plumbing pipe and fittings
  • Knowledge and ability to work with steel pipe, ductile iron, copper, PEX, PVC, and other materials
  • Complete knowledge of local plumbing codes and ability to read blueprints

Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of drain cleaning with cable machines and hydro jetter equipment
  • Complete knowledge of complete plumbing systems
  • Ability to work with various plumbing materials
  • Direct communication with customers
