We are seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Service Technician to join our Building Services team. This role is ideal for a skilled commercial plumber with experience troubleshooting complex plumbing systems, drain snaking, hydro jetting, and emergency service work. Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems
- Identify and resolve plumbing failures, including leaks, stoppages, and damaged components
- Perform drain cleaning using drain snakes, hydro jetting equipment, and other specialized plumbing tools
- Service and repair systems including:
- Domestic water systems
- Water closets
- Sanitary waste systems
- Storm drainage systems
- Domestic water heating systems
- Hydronic piping systems
- Fire sprinkler piping systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and system modifications
- Read and interpret plumbing drawings and specifications
- Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate job status
- Ensure all work complies with OSHA regulations, local plumbing codes, and company safety standards
- Deliver professional, customer-focused service while maintaining clean and organized work areas
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of commercial plumbing service experience
- Strong troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance skills on commercial plumbing systems
- Experience with drain cleaning, drain snaking, and hydro jetting equipment is required
- Journeyman Plumbing License or Master Plumber License preferred
- Apprentice Plumber License will also be considered for qualified candidates with the required commercial service experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commercial construction safety practices
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and overtime
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire
Pay
Competitive hourly pay: $35.00–$50.00/hour (DOE) + overtime opportunities
