Commercial Plumbing Quotations Specialist

About the role

Join Plumbers Supply Co, a leading provider in the plumbing and heating industry, as a Quotations Assistant at our Louisville location.

Responsibilities

• Assist with generating plumbing quotations, ensuring product matches to customer specifications and working with vendors for up-to-date pricing
• Handle high volumes of sales calls and direct calls within the department, maintaining professionalism at all times
• Support Project Managers by processing transactions such as orders, quotes, or returns and managing smaller projects/jobs as assigned
• Maintain accurate job binders, ensure documentation is up-to-date, and follow all company policies and procedures
• Serve as a backup to the Quotations Administrator, assist team members, and follow up on the status of purchase orders for existing orders

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent; a college degree preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in plumbing sales or a related field
• General knowledge of plumbing products and the industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Prophet 21
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, detailed, and high volume environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changes quickly
