Commercial Pest Control Technician

Full-time, field-based position based in Sandusky, Ohio (44870), serving Northeast Ohio including Akron and Cleveland areas.

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Commercial Pest Control Technician to join an established and rapidly growing pest control company serving Northeast Ohio, including the Sandusky, Akron, and Cleveland areas.

The technician will provide commercial and residential pest control services, with an emphasis on commercial accounts and facilities that operate under strict regulatory and inspection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial and residential pest control inspections and treatment services.
• Service commercial accounts, including regulated or government-inspected facilities.
• Identify pest activity, assess conditions, and recommend appropriate treatment solutions.
• Follow established safety procedures, service protocols, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate service records and document treatments as required.
• Communicate professionally with customers and address service-related concerns.
• Manage assigned service routes efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Work independently in the field while collaborating with team members when needed.
• Maintain company equipment and vehicles in a clean, safe, and professional condition.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial pest control experience.
• Experience servicing facilities subject to government inspections or strict compliance standards, such as: medical facilities and healthcare environments; warehouses and distribution centers; USDA-regulated facilities; FDA-regulated facilities.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to meet company driving requirements.
• Must successfully pass required background check for assignments servicing schools, hospitals, and other sensitive facilities.
• Strong communication, professionalism, and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage a service route, and collaborate effectively with other technicians.

Work Environment

This is a field-based position requiring daily travel throughout the assigned service territory. Candidates should be comfortable driving between customer locations, working independently, and providing dependable service across commercial and residential accounts.
