Responsibilities

• Complete Orkin’s award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve customers.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities, including operating a company vehicle and maintaining cleanliness of equipment.
• Follow a route schedule within an assigned territory, ensuring timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as a problem solver for customers by listening to their needs and recommending efficient, innovative solutions.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of customer properties to diagnose and address pest issues.
• Communicate with customers to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services.
• Complete all required service-related documentation using a handheld device for accuracy.
• Meet physical job requirements, including safely using ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs, and accessing confined spaces or rooftops.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA-compliant respirator when required.
• Work in various weather conditions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
• Ability to work independently, manage route-based assignments, and interact with customers in their homes or businesses.

No prior pest control experience is required—Orkin provides full training. Ideal candidates have a service-oriented mindset, a commitment to safety and professionalism, and a desire to grow as part of a mission-driven team.
