About the role
A professional level sales position within the commercial side of the business, responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and expansion. Partners with the General Manager to manage Team Members. Requires expertise in automotive systems and parts knowledge, sourcing capabilities, and dispatching drivers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain commercial customer relationships
- Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
- Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
- Provide day-to-day supervisory support for Team Members
- Collaborate with GM on coaching and developmental needs for Team Members
- Dispatch drivers ensuring delivery standards are achieved
- Maintain commercial stocking programs
- Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
- Maintain core bank and commercial returns
- Manage commercial credit accounts
- Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

Essential Job Skills
- Necessary for success as a Commercial Parts Pro: working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic ability, communication, writing, reading, math, and use of Microsoft software
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of commercial profitability concepts, competition, market opportunities, and customer prioritization
- Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions
- Formal or informal experience leading teams, including supervising daily tasks, and working together to achieve goals
- Necessary education: High school diploma or GED
- Preferred but not required: ASE Certification

- Walking or standing predominantly
- Reach with hands and arms
- Climb or balance
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
Work Environment
- Usually working inside
- Occasionally outside and exposed to various weather conditions
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration
- Moderate noise level
