About the role

A professional level sales position within the commercial side of the business, responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and expansion. Partners with the General Manager to manage the Team Members.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain commercial customer relationships
  • Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
  • Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
  • Provide day-to-day supervisory support for Team Members
  • Collaborate with GM on coaching and developmental needs for Team Members
  • Dispatch drivers ensuring delivery standards are achieved
  • Maintain commercial stocking programs
  • Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Maintain core bank and commercial returns
  • Maintain commercial credit accounts
  • Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

  • Operating POS and Parts lookup systems
  • ASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalent

  • Advanced solution, project and product quality recommendation ability
  • Ability to multi-task and remain organized
  • Effective communication, listening and problem solving skills

Essential Job Skills

  • Necessary for success as a Commercial Parts Pro: working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic ability, communication, writing, reading, math, organizational skills, understanding of commercial profitability concepts, ability to work various shifts, ASE certification (preferred)

Education and Experience

  • Necessary for success: High school diploma or GED, formal or informal experience leading teams, ASE certification (preferred)

Physical Demands

  • Walking, standing, talking, hearing, handling/fingering, reaching, climbing/balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifting/carrying up to 100 pounds

Work Environment

  • Usually indoors, occasionally outside, high/precarious places, toxic/caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, vibration

Compensation and Benefits

The good faith estimate for this role is between 20.75 USD and 23.09 USD per hour for a new team member. The rate offered depends on a number of factors, including geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other skillsets ideal for this position and shift differential (if applicable).
