About the role
A professional level sales position within the commercial side of the business, responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and expansion. Partners with the General Manager to manage Team Members. Requires extensive knowledge of automotive systems and parts.
Responsibilities
- Maintain commercial customer relationships
- Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
- Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
- Provide day-to-day supervisory support for Team Members
- Collaborate with GM on coaching and developmental needs for Team Members
- Dispatch drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Maintain commercial stocking programs
- Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
- Maintain core bank and commercial returns
- Manage commercial credit accounts
- Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

Essential Job Skills
- Necessary for success as a Commercial Parts Pro: working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic ability, communication, writing, reading, math, using Microsoft software, organizational skills, understanding commercial profitability concepts, prior automotive parts experience, proven sales ability, formal or informal team leadership experience, ASE certification (preferred)
Physical Demands
- Walking, standing, talking, hearing, handling/fingering, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifting/carrying up to 100 pounds
Work Environment
- Usually indoors, occasionally outside, exposed to various weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, toxic/caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, vibration, noise levels usually moderate
Compensation Range
The good faith estimate for this role is between 18.85 USD and 20.98 USD per hour for a new team member. The rate offered depends on a number of factors, including geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other skillsets ideal for this position and shift differential (if applicable).
