About the role

A professional level sales position within the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and expansion. Partners with General Manager to manage Team Members.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain commercial customer relationships
  • Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
  • Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
  • Provide day-to-day supervisory support for Team Members
  • Collaborate with GM on coaching and developmental needs for Team Members
  • Dispatch drivers ensuring delivery standards are achieved
  • Maintain commercial stocking programs
  • Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Maintain core bank and commercial returns
  • Maintain commercial credit accounts
  • Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

  • Operating POS and Parts lookup systems
  • ASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalent

  • Advanced solution, project, and product quality recommendation ability
  • Ability to multi-task and remain organized
  • Effective communication, listening, and problem-solving skills

Essential Job Skills

  • Necessary for success as a Commercial Parts Pro: working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic ability, communication, writing, reading, math, and computer skills
  • Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions
  • Formal or informal experience leading teams, including supervising daily tasks, and working together to achieve goals
  • Necessary education: high school diploma or GED
  • Preferred but not required: ASE Certification

Physical Demands

  • Walking, standing, talking, hearing, handling/fingering, reaching, climbing/balance, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifting/carrying up to 100 pounds

Work Environment

  • Usually working inside; occasionally outside and exposed to various weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, toxic/caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration

  • Eligible for sales commission based on individual or store performance

Compensation Range

The good faith estimate for this role is between 20.75 USD and 23.09 USD per hour for a new team member. The rate offered depends on a number of factors, including geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other skillsets ideal for this position and shift differential (if applicable).
