About the role

A professional level sales position within the commercial side of the business. This role supports advanced functions and is responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain commercial customer relationships
  • Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
  • Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
  • Provide day-to-day supervisory support for Team Members
  • Collaborate with GM on coaching and developmental needs for Team Members
  • Dispatch drivers ensuring delivery standards are achieved
  • Maintain commercial stocking programs
  • Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Maintain core bank and commercial returns
  • Manage commercial credit accounts
  • Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

  • ASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalent

Essential Job Skills

  • Necessary for success as a Commercial Parts Pro: working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic ability, friendly communication, safety knowledge, ability to read and interpret documents, use basic math, use Microsoft software effectively, strong organizational skills, understand commercial profitability concepts, ASE certification (preferred)

Education and Certifications

  • Necessary for success: High school diploma or GED, ASE Certification (preferred)

Physical Demands

  • Walking or standing predominantly
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment

  • Usually working inside, occasionally outside and exposed to various weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration

Compensation and Benefits

  • The good faith estimate for this role is between 18.85 USD and 20.98 USD per hour for a new team member
