About the role

A professional level sales position within the commercial side of the business, responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and expansion.

Responsibilities

• Maintain commercial customer relationships
• Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
• Provide day-to-day supervisory support for Team Members
• Collaborate with GM on coaching and developmental needs for Team Members
• Dispatch drivers ensuring delivery standards are achieved
• Maintain commercial stocking programs
• Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain core bank and commercial returns
• Maintain commercial credit accounts
• Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

• Necessary for success as a Commercial Parts Pro: working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic ability, friendly communication, safety knowledge, organizational skills, ability to source from numerous places, advanced selling skills, multi-tasking, effective communication, problem-solving skills, formal or informal experience leading teams, and understanding of commercial profitability concepts.

Education and Certifications

• Necessary for success: High school diploma or GED, ASE Certification preferred but not required.

Physical Demands

• Walking, standing, talking, hearing, handling, feeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment

• Usually working inside, occasionally outside and exposed to various weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration.

Compensation and Benefits

• The good faith estimate for this role is between 18.85 USD and 20.98 USD per hour for a new team member. The rate offered depends on a number of factors, including geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other skillsets ideal for this position and shift differential (if applicable).
