About the role

A professional level sales position focused on supporting advanced functions within the commercial side of the business. This role is responsible for driving profitable growth through customer retention and expansion, partnering with the General Manager to manage a team of sales professionals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain commercial customer relationships
• Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
• Provide day-to-day supervisory support for Team Members
• Collaborate with GM on coaching and developmental needs for Team Members
• Dispatch drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery
• Maintain commercial stocking programs
• Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain core bank and commercial returns
• Manage commercial credit accounts
• Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

Essential Job Skills

• Necessary for success as a Commercial Parts Pro: working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic ability, communication, writing, reading, math, and computer skills
• Proven sales ability with past experience in fulfillment of customer transactions
• Formal or informal experience leading teams, including supervising daily tasks, and working together to achieve goals

Education and Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• ASE P2 certification preferred, but not required

Physical Demands

• Walking, standing, talking, hearing, handling, feeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling
• Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds occasionally, and up to 100 pounds occasionally

Work Environment

• Usually working inside, occasionally outside and exposed to various weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration

Compensation and Benefits

• The good faith estimate for this role is between 18.85 USD and 20.98 USD per hour for a new team member
