About the role

A professional level sales position focused on supporting advanced functions within the commercial side of the business. This role is responsible for driving profitable growth through customer retention and expansion.

Responsibilities

• Maintain commercial customer relationships
• Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
• Provide day-to-day supervisory support for Team Members
• Collaborate with General Manager on coaching and developmental needs for Team Members
• Dispatch drivers ensuring delivery standards are achieved
• Maintain commercial stocking programs
• Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain core bank and commercial returns
• Maintain commercial credit accounts
• Partner with General Manager to ensure proper driver coverage

• Necessary for success as a Commercial Parts Pro: working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic ability, friendly communication, safety knowledge, ability to source from multiple places, advanced selling skills, ability to multi-task, effective communication, listening, and problem-solving skills, organizational skills, understanding of commercial profitability concepts, formal or informal experience leading teams, and ability to work various shifts.

Education and Certifications

• Necessary for success: High school diploma or GED, ASE certification preferred but not required.

Physical Demands

• Walking, standing, talking, hearing, handling objects, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment

• Usually working inside, occasionally outside and exposed to various weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, and vibration.

Compensation and Benefits

The good faith estimate for this role is between $22.80 and $25.36 per hour for a new team member. The rate offered depends on a number of factors, including geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other skillsets ideal for this position and shift differential (if applicable).
