About the role

A professional level sales position within the commercial side of the business, responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and expansion. Partners with the General Manager to manage Team Members. Requires extensive knowledge of automotive systems and parts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain commercial customer relationships
• Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
• Provide day-to-day supervisory support for Team Members
• Collaborate with GM on coaching and developmental needs for Team Members
• Dispatch drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery
• Maintain commercial stocking programs
• Build and maintain a network of second-source suppliers

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain core bank and commercial returns
• Manage commercial credit accounts
• Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

Essential Job Skills

• Necessary for success as a Commercial Parts Pro: working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic ability, communication, writing, reading, math, and use of Microsoft software
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of commercial profitability concepts
• Prior automotive parts experience
• Proven sales ability
• Formal or informal experience leading teams

Education and Certifications

• High school diploma or GED
• ASE certification preferred but not required

Physical Demands

• Walking, standing, talking, hearing, handling, feeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling
• Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds frequently, up to 100 pounds occasionally

Work Environment

• Usually indoors, occasionally outside, high, precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, vibration

Compensation and Benefits

The good faith estimate for this role is between 20.75 USD and 23.09 USD per hour for a new team member. Benefits include a comprehensive health and wellness program.
