About the role

A professional level sales position within the commercial side of the business, responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain commercial customer relationships
  • Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
  • Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
  • Provide day-to-day supervisory support for Team Members
  • Collaborate with General Manager on coaching and developmental needs for Team Members
  • Dispatch drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery
  • Maintain commercial stocking programs
  • Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Maintain core bank and commercial returns
  • Manage commercial credit accounts
  • Partner with General Manager to ensure proper driver coverage

Essential Job Skills

  • Necessary for success as a Commercial Parts Pro: working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic ability, communication, writing, reading, math, and use of Microsoft software
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Understanding of commercial profitability concepts
  • Prior automotive parts experience preferred
  • Proven sales ability
  • Formal or informal experience leading teams

Education and Certifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • ASE Certification preferred, but not required

Physical Demands

  • Walking, standing, reaching, talking, hearing, handling/fingering, climbing/balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling
  • Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, adjusting focus
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, toxic/caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, vibration, moderate noise levels

Work Environment

  • Usually indoors, occasionally outside, high, precarious places, toxic/caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, vibration

Compensation and Benefits

  • Good faith estimate for this role is between 18.85 USD and 20.98 USD per hour for a new team member
  • Eligible for sales commission based on individual or store performance
