About the role
A professional level sales position within the commercial side of the business, responsible for profitable growth through customer retention and expansion.
Responsibilities
- Maintain commercial customer relationships
- Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
- Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
- Provide day-to-day supervisory support for Team Members
- Collaborate with GM on coaching and developmental needs for Team Members
- Dispatch drivers ensuring delivery standards are achieved
- Maintain commercial stocking programs
- Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
- Maintain core bank and commercial returns
- Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage
Success Factors

- Parts and automotive system knowledge skills
- Operating POS and Parts lookup systems
- ASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalent
- Advanced selling skills for commercial customers
- Ability to source from numerous places including special order, FDO, second source, etc.
- Advanced solution, project and product quality recommendation ability
- Ability to multi-task and remain organized
- Effective communication, listening and problem solving skills
Essential Job Skills
- Necessary for success as a Commercial Parts Pro: working knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic ability, friendly communication, safety knowledge and skills, ability to read and interpret documents, use basic math, use Microsoft software effectively, strong organizational skills, understand commercial profitability concepts, ability to work various shifts, ASE certification (preferred)
Physical Demands
- Walking, standing, talking, hearing, handling/fingering, reaching, climbing/balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting/carrying up to 50/100 lbs.
Work Environment
- Usually indoors, occasionally outside, high/precarious places, toxic/caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, explosives, vibration, moderate noise levels
Compensation Range
The good faith estimate for this role is between 22.80 USD and 25.36 USD per hour for a new team member. The rate offered depends on a number of factors, including geographic location, experience in retail, automotive knowledge, education, leadership roles, and other skillsets ideal for this position and shift differential (if applicable).
