About the role
This is a professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. The position is responsible for profitable growth of the commercial business via customer retention and growth. The role partners with the General Manager to manage Team Members and has expert knowledge of automotive systems and part knowledge.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include maintaining commercial customer relationships, providing a great selling experience, achieving sales goals and service objectives, and providing day-to-day supervisory support for Team Members. The role also involves collaborating with the General Manager on coaching and developmental needs, dispatching drivers, maintaining commercial stocking programs, and building a network of second source suppliers.
- Maintain commercial customer relationships
- Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
- Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
- Provide day-to-day supervisory support for Team Members
- Collaborate with General Manager on coaching and developmental needs for Team Members
- Dispatch drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Maintain commercial stocking programs
- Build and maintain a network of second source suppliers
Secondary responsibilities include maintaining core bank and commercial returns, maintaining commercial credit accounts, and partnering with the General Manager to ensure proper driver coverage.

Requirements
The role requires a range of skills and knowledge, including friendly communication, ability to locate and stock parts, safety knowledge and skills, and operating inventory systems and store equipment. The role also requires parts and automotive system knowledge, operating POS and Parts lookup systems, and ASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalent.

Qualifications
The role requires a minimum of 3 years of prior automotive parts experience, proven sales ability, and formal or informal experience leading teams. A high school diploma or general education degree is also required.

Pay
The good faith estimate for this role is between $18.85 and $20.98 per hour for a new team member, depending on factors such as geographic location, experience, and skillsets.
Schedule
The position is full-time and may require working an assortment of days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
