Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by priming, sanding, sealing, and patching, utilizing a variety of painting materials including varnish, lacquer, shellac, enamel, latex, epoxy, waterproofing, and heat‑resistant finishes.
• Cross‑check colors and confirm supplied products to match job files.
• Apply materials to new construction, existing, and remodeled buildings with precision and expertise.
• Exhibit a professional demeanor and effectively represent the company while working at client job sites.
• Understand and interpret blueprints and scope specifications to ensure accurate execution of painting tasks.
• Complete required reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Understand the importance of and proficiently complete field change orders and submittals.
• Operate multi‑level scaffolding, extension ladders, and spray systems safely and efficiently.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and assigned trucks, ensuring they are in optimal condition and keeping a clean, safe work area.
• Apply in‑depth knowledge of various painting materials and application methods.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a commercial painter; experience in both exterior and interior commercial painting, wallcoverings, and coatings is highly preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
