About the role

As a Commercial Sales Professional at Terminix Nation, you’ll be the face of the brand in your local community, building relationships and solving problems for clients. You’ll start with comprehensive training, including state-required licenses and certifications, before taking the lead with your own customers. This role is mobile and independent, with a clear path for career growth.

You’ll inspect and assess pest problems, propose Terminix solutions, and deliver exceptional customer service. You’ll also generate new business, navigate commercial property intricacies, and handle account follow-ups. There’s opportunity to grow into management or other roles based on your skills and passions.

Responsibilities

• Complete training modules and on-the-job training to learn product knowledge and sales techniques for the full suite of Terminix products.
• Inspect and assess pest problems with precision, then suggest Terminix solutions following company policy and pricing instructions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, follow up to ensure satisfaction, and creatively grow client relationships.
• Navigate the complexities of commercial properties and management, handling delinquent accounts with professionalism.
• Meet and greet potential customers to generate new business for the branch.
• Operate a motor vehicle safely and maintain cleanliness of equipment.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways as required.

Requirements

• A high school education or GED.
• Strong customer service, communication, and critical thinking skills; sales experience or training is a plus.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) to follow product label instructions.

Physical Demands

• Regularly lift and move up to 10 lbs., and frequently handle 11–20 lbs. (lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects).
• Frequent movement including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Navigate stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles, and maintain balance on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces.
• Perform detail-oriented activities at close distances or within arm’s reach.
• Wear OSHA-compliant respirators and other PPE as required.

Pay

Base pay range: $50,600.00 - $82,500.00 per year. Starting pay varies based on geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may include overtime, incentives, commissions, performance bonuses, and route assignments.
