Commercial or Industrial Estimator

About the role

We are a family oriented General Contractor looking for a Senior Estimator to join our growing team. We specialize in ground-up commercial construction projects, offering diverse experience across labs, education, healthcare, warehouse, and more. Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force
• Inspection of Contractor or (Sub)Contract operations to ensure compliance with Contract
• Maintain good relationships with internal & external clients
• Conduct quality inspections
• Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts
• Manage schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules
• Prepare and submit Superintendent’s Daily Reports
• Attend and participate in project meetings, including subcontractor meetings

Qualifications

• 10 years experience in ground-up construction (preferred)
• OSHA 10 Certification required
• OSHA 30 Certification preferred
• First Aid/CPR certification
• Mass Supervisors License or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management (preferred)

Skills

• Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of Procore
• Excellent written, oral communications and management skills
• Strong ability to read drawings and specifications
• Functions effectively as part of a team
• Exhibits strong leadership qualities
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
• Strong decision making/problem solving skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Thorough knowledge of subcontract language
• Safety standards knowledge and enforcement

Pay

$90,000 - $140,000 per year
