Commercial Operations Specialist I

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop proposals and quotations for complex service projects and customer requirements.
• Cook up input from internal teams including Sales, Engineering, and Implementation.
• Ensure timely delivery of accurate and competitive bids and proposals.
• Aid with market research, sales forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders under tight deadlines.
• Support process improvement initiatives to streamline commercial operations.
• Prepare and maintain proposal templates, tools, and documentation.
• Aid with customer inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction through prompt follow-up.
• Support compliance with internal approval processes such as GOA approvals.
• Contribute to achieving departmental goals and metrics.

Knowledge, Skills & Education

• Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting commercial or sales operations, preferably in the energy, power generation, or manufacturing industry.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Detail-oriented and proactive approach to problem solving. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
