Commercial Loss Control Consultant-Independent Contractor

About the role

MIB, Inc. seeks independent 1099 contractors to perform insurance underwriting surveys on residential, commercial, and agricultural properties. Self-motivation is key. Microsoft Word proficiency is required.

Responsibilities

- Assess conditions found during inspections. - Identify hazards that could lead to claims activity. - Gather data to assist insurance companies in establishing replacement cost values. - Work within a defined territory, which may be part-time or full-time based on business volume.

Requirements

- Basic knowledge of home construction materials and methods. - Previous inspection experience is helpful. - Access to a PC, internet, and digital camera.

- Capable of meeting and conversing with people in the community. - Reliable, organized, and self-motivated.
