About the role

If you're a strategic, detail-focused professional with a passion for credit management and portfolio oversight, this is your opportunity to contribute to a high-performing commercial lending team. As a Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager, you’ll play a critical role in supporting business relationships, ensuring credit compliance, and streamlining internal processes. You'll work closely with senior lenders and gain exposure to complex credit structuring and portfolio strategy in a collaborative, relationship-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with commercial lenders to manage new and existing commercial loan relationships.
  • Complete annual reviews and monitor term loan performance, including covenant tracking and compliance.
  • Manage the receipt and delivery of financial statements to credit analysts and internal systems.
  • Work with internal teams to clear financial, insurance, and post-closing audit exceptions.
  • Collaborate with credit analysts to ensure financial spreads are completed and properly filed.
  • Order credit reports, UCC searches, appraisals, flood determinations, and other pre-closing items.
  • Fulfill client needs for amortization schedules, loan documentation, and other post-closing inquiries.
  • Track maturity dates to ensure timely financial collection and loan renewals.
  • Work cross-functionally to support efficient portfolio operations and maintain compliance.
  • Support leadership with special initiatives and reporting as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
  • 5–10 years of commercial lending or credit administration experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of credit principles and commercial loan documentation.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, timely work.
  • Ability occasionally to work at various locations within driving distance.
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 75% of an eight (8) hour workday.
  • Ability to review information and details at close range (within a few feet).
