About the role

As a Commercial Loan Officer II or III, you will service an existing portfolio of commercial loans in the Chittenden County area, develop and underwrite new account relationships, and primarily handle the more complex commercial loans in the Bank’s portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Service an existing portfolio of commercial loans
• Develop and underwrite new account relationships
• Handle complex commercial loans
• Read and understand corporate-level financial statements
• Apply knowledge of environmental assessments and state/local permitting requirements
• Evaluate commercial real estate appraisals and methodologies
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking regulations and principles

Requirements

• BS or BA in Business Management
• Minimum of 7–10 years of commercial lending and banking experience
• Sales experience
• Ability to read and interpret corporate financial statements
• Knowledge of environmental assessments and state/local permitting requirements
• Experience with commercial real estate appraisals and evaluation methodologies
• High-level understanding of legal requirements and commercial law
• Mathematical aptitude
