Acquisition, Expansion, and Retention
Acquires, expands, and retains commercial relationships through a proactive calling strategy.
Sells ancillary products and services to existing and potential clients.
Loan Analysis and Negotiation
Analyzes credit histories of applicants to determine repayment capabilities.
Negotiates loan terms, including costs, repayment methods, and collateral specifications.
Interest Rate Structure and Compliance
Develops and maintains interest rate structures consistent with financial institution policies and competitive market rates.
Evaluates new customer loan requests and makes recommendations to management.
Overdraft Management
Daily reviews, approves, and disposes of commercial overdrafts.
Legal and Regulatory Compliance
Reviews new laws and regulations affecting business lending and makes recommendations to management.
Provides training to new commercial loan officers.
Community Engagement
Represents the bank in the local community through active participation in community affairs.
Customer Service and Complaint Handling
Handles customer complaints and escalates issues as necessary.
Work Station Maintenance
Maintains cleanliness in and around the work station.
Department Improvement
Recommends methods to improve the department and completes required compliance exams annually.
Professionalism and Initiative
Takes initiative in developing and completing projects.
Adheres to all First United Policies and Procedures.
Dresses professionally.
